Cameron named Director of NDE Training and Certification |

Quality Inspection Services, Inc. is pleased to announce that Robert E. Cameron has joined the company as Director of NDE Training and Certification. He brings a wealth of experience to the company with over 40 years in Nondestructive Testing, Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with more than 25 years involvement in training, consulting, auditing, and certification services. His career has spanned various industries including aerospace, nuclear, automotive, railcar, shiplbuilding, power generation and petrochemical. He has conducted technical training programs and consulting services throughout the United States as well as in Canada, Greece, Mexico, Japan and Venezuela. He has also conducted training programs for ASNT, ASM, ASME, and AWS. He is an ASNT Level III in MT, PT, RT, UT, ET, VT and NR; an ACCP Professional Level III in MT, PT, RT, UT and VT; CSWIP ACFM Level II and an AWS CRI. He is an ASNT Fellow and has served on the ASNT Board of Directors. He has received the ASNT Tutorial Award, the ASNT Mentoring Award, andthe AWS District 18 Private Sector Instructor Award. He is a member of ASNT, ASTM and AWS. He is also an adjunct instructor at San Jacinto College in the ATTIC NDE Program.
