Nesselbush, signed a contract with Washington Group International to provide Inspection/Testing Services at a Uranium Enrichment Facility under construction in Eunice, New Mexico. The contract is the single largest contract QIS has ever signed to be executed within a single year! A congratulation goes out to all involved in this accomplishment.

The $1,5 billion National Enrichment Facility will provide the United States with an alternative domestic source of enriched uranium required to operate the country's nuclear power plants. It is the first major nuclear facility to be licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in the United States in three decades.

Construction is underway, and it is estimated there will be more than 600 construction personnel during peak construction. The National Enrichment Facility is scheduled to begin production mid-2009 with construction completed in 2013.

QISI will provide civil material testing during construction of the facility. QISI will supply the talent, innovation, and proven performance to validate the quality of construction. Being a nationwide company, with a proven track record with customers ranging from Chemical plants to Nuclear Plants, QISI will provide the best protection through inspection.

The ROV for Inland Surveys and Inspections:

Water Tank Inspection

The VideoRay is effective for inspecting potable water tanks – without the use of divers and from outside the tank. Using the VideoRay eliminates the risk of human contamination or unsafe conditions. The submersible swims through the tank and surveys the roof, seams, standpipes, and cables. The camera eye captures footage while robotic grippers take samples of corrosion. The VideoRay makes tank inspections safer, more affordable, and more frequent while stretching budget dollars.
