Quality Inspection Services, Inc. was founded in 1987 to fulfill the need of Central and Western New York's need for a Quality Assurance / Quality Control, Civil Materials Testing and Nondestructive Testing (NDT) firm. For over 23 years, QISI has performed numerous tasks in its area of expertise for both large and small companies. In response to the growing demand for nondestructive examination services, we have expanded our services across the United States.
To ensure that these services are provided to our clients in a manner consistent with industry standards and regulations, a Quality Assurance Program was formulated in strict compliance with the requirements set forth within ASME NQA-1, "Quality Assurance Program Requirements for Nuclear Facilities", "International Standards Organization ISO 9000", Automotive Quality System QS-9000 and within ASTM, API and ACI Codes and Standards.
In 2010 Quality Inspection Services, Inc. was acquired by Applus RTD, a worldwide leader in nondestructive testing (NDT) and inspection. With the support of operations in over 30 countries, QISI / Applus RTD continues to provide its high level services utilizing the latest technology to its loyal customers in nondestructive testing, civil materials testing, geotechnical drilling, environmental assessments, quality assurance/quality control, engineering, and industrial hygiene services.
